    Currently, HG isn't in the best state. What can be done? I've made numerous suggestions for this, involving kit changes, map changes, an addition of a new rank, some ways to help new players, etc. etc.
    The most important thing that stuck in my head was: remove HG as a gamemode, but turn it into a bi-weekly (clarification: every 2 weeks) event.
    This would make HG interesting, while letting Battle Royale get the front spot as a survival, material-gathering gamemode, and let the old players still have some fun on HG :^)
    Of course, this time could be increased to once a month, but I don't really mind. I'll play them all.

    We've already exhausted ourselves of ideas, truly. The only thing that gets players on HG is spam broadcasts.

    I can't see HG or even SG servers becoming popular with the same core, nostalgic concepts. Concepts like Bed Wars and Skywars already modernized the style of HG, a last-man-standing vanilla based gamemode, into something popular. HG is simply old school.

    We're almost lowkey doing this. There's been events getting up to 70 players every few weeks. As long as we do that, there's not much reason in removing regular games for the time being, as HG is free to run at the moment.
