Stadium Building Guide (4 of 5, Baseball Stadium Part 1)

So, in part one, we did the field and outline of the stadium.


In this part we will be doing the sides of the stadium by home plate.


Lets begin by building up the field border. On the outfield side of the dugouts it's good to do a border 2 blocks tall and for the dugouts and inwards it's good to do 4 to 5 blocks. A good area for the dugouts would be to have them centered around first and third bases. If you are adding a club area do about 3 blocks.

Next, it's seating time, its good to do about 8 rows of seating in the main level and 3 rows in the lowered area.

For the plaza level concourse, about 5 blocks wide would be good for the walkway and about 5 blocks for concession stand areas. Between shops its good to add stair wells up and down.

Now the club level. It's good to do a 5 block stair case up from the plaza level to a sub level with shops, then to the club level concourse.

For club level seating between 5 and 10 rows are good (I did 8), depending on how high above the plaza level it is.

Next the nosebleeds, for these it's best to use cubby entrances at the bottom row so you can go up as high as you want.



Now, for the entrance area, it is best to make this an open area for easy navigation.

Almost done. The outside of the building should be in stadium like colors and in my opinion arches are the best.

Lastly, the cosmetics. Above the nosebleeds its good to add jumbotrons and also add a national flag above the main entrance.
