Here's a simple and realistic step-to-step guide on how to make a good idea thread.

    1. Title: Think of a short and sweet title that sums up your idea loud and clear. You can also have a full on clickbait title as it gives about the same results.
    2. (Optional) Introduction: Introduce everyone why you are making the thread. "Hey, I had had this idea bla bla bla..." This is optional because this is a damn Minecraft server forum and introductions are not so important; everyone skips to the idea anyway. Introductions are good if you just want to be "professional" or fancy.
    3. Idea: Start a new paragraph and tell about your idea. If you have a lot of statistics/specific info about something, put it in a Spoiler so there wont be a huge wall of text making everyone too lazy to read your text.
    4. Why?: Start a new paragraph and explain why your idea needs to be added; what issue does it solve/what new aspect it adds.
    5. (Optional) Tl:dr: Add a too lazy didn't read for lazy people who don't have time for your massive wall of text. This is optional because it can either discourage or courage people to read your idea; if you add one, it can make people just read it instead of the big text or it might make people interested to read your idea. Tl:dr is a bit like your non-clickbait title though.
    6. Poll: Add a poll with +1, +0, and -1. If you have multiple suggestions and want feedback on all of them you can also list their 1+ etc. in the poll. Polls are important because people are too lazy to type their opinion. Sometimes the people who reply might forget to use the poll though (sums up me perfectly).
    7. Don't add: Don't add your signature at the end like "Sincerely, Lekosa1" or something like that. It's too cringy. Introductions are fine, but nope to the above. If you're part of the staff team then it's fine since you're supposed to be professional.
Also, make sure you spell correctly and use good punctuation. Capital letters and that kinda stuff don't matter. It's also good to be funny because it makes you look more human and cool thus making people like your idea, like this:

    Sincerely,

    Lekosa1 (haha irony)
