Nope, chickenputty never asked about the glitch, never asked for information. All he wanted was me giving him some reasons why not to reset my entire stats.

I litteraly just said that you can't just shove this all on one word in a conversation one year ago, because that is just a reason you made up afterwards. And you just did it again. You're just being plain stupid now.

What, how, when and why I exactly glitched.
Or why don't you just tell me, since you don't bother asking, I assume you know it all?

 

What's with the "legit" thing? Vincz obviously meant he got the levels without downloading something elsewhere, like hacks. It's "legit", to an extent, to glitch since it's part of the game and doesn't require external influences. This is how some people think.

For example, I used to glitch out of map every single game with the sponge glitch back in the day. I did it for months. I thought it was 100% legit because everyone can do it, and I learned from watching a Minecraft YouTuber (SSundee) who always tries to find and abuse glitches to succeed.

This is how Vincz thought of the word legit as well. Of course he realized it wasn't the right word later (as he said) because glitching isn't legit.


This is an extremely messy reply, but basically what I'm trying to say is, that people think of the word legit differently. If you think about it, glitching is 100% legit because it's part of the game, it's just not meant to be there. Kinda hard to explain because it's also not legit which Vincz realized as he said he used the wrong word.

 

Ayy spent 2 hours reading this crap through, and well, I can't leave this without getting someone to rage on me as well *shrugs*

So lemme get it through as I see this:
- Vincz found a glitch, used/tried/whateverd it, about a year ago.
- Putty notices, conversation starts, Vincz misuses a word (which I can relate to completely), at the end, Putty ends it with a message which can be translated to "Don't do it again or bad things will happen".
- A year passes. Literally everyone knows that Vincz used a glitch, he tells me when I ask him, etc. The glitch is oblivious, as it was mentioned so much, "common sense" y'all...
- Out of nowhere, someone (didn't get it after all who did it) sets Vincz's levels back -30 levels. Now this makes me think. Why the staff member did it (who authorized him/her/appache to do it, especially because imo Putty settled the issue in the conversation)? Why did a year pass with everyone being cool with Vincz's glitch? And why wasn't Vincz noticed by the staff member that his stats were set back?

Now to the last question there, I don't want to make everyone mad again here about the stuff everyone is arguing about. I don't think that all punished player should get noticed, but yet I still feel this unfair, because of three points:
1, This happened a year ago. OK, real life police stuff happens after 50 years, but we are not talking about real life.
2, As I said, in my opinion, Putty settled this issue, Vincz was warned to not do it again in words, and Putty decided not to set his stats back.
(Given this two points, Vincz should have been noticed so he would know what the actual shet happened.)
And 3, Vincz is one of the biggest donators, and always on top among the voters. I would say he is well known on Brawl. As of that, and I'm saying this as a suggestion for the staff, I would at least tell the reason to one of the biggest supporters of the server: oh why oh why he got his stats reseted.

As for a solution for everyone:
about Vincz: I literally couldn't care less about what his level number says on a webpage, and I think 90% of War community thinks the same. If the reset is a must and the question of life-and-death, then I say ok reset his level - to the original nomber (150 or 151 idk). The -30 level penalty is just foolish and has no reason. That is a level he worked for, and it is not the staff team's decision to take it away. It's just like trolling with your player who will eventually gets fed up and leaves for good.
about the staff team: (not talking about Vincz's case, but in a whole) Communication is a must (this is why this thread is about, talk about this lol) amongside with other stuff. This is not the first time for me seeing that two sides go against each other just cuz they are lazy (or in some situations, too proud) to communicate with each other before. This doesn't mean to pm every newly joined toxic/hacker kid on the forums about why the player got punished. But for the staff team to atleast try to be patient and relatively kind; if the server is dying, at least try to do something for the community. That is a staff's first purpose imo, not muting everyone. (The community will always be toxic, as new players come and go. It's about the staff to settle the atmosphere of a server.)

I kind of lost my spirit for the end, I hope it comes through tho.

Overall:
Give the 30 levels back to Vincz; the readers take notes and don't try to use glitches without telling the staff; the staff team should try to think the events through slower, since the banhammer is not always the sollution for everything (please understand this right k?).
Also I would really like to read Putty's opinion about all of this, .... but eh, he is busy :V

this thread is useless, someone abused, got punished and a complain thread wont give back his lvls, neither is this the case with any other thread about people being punished for breaking the rules xd
