    CTF Map Submission

    Map Name: Rift
    Map ID: 356913
    Style: MOBA/League of Legends/Natural
    Creator(s): @Chilled_67, @Fordale, and I
    Note: There are others who helped me, so I'd like to state that @ImDualley helped give me the original idea for the detailing on the flagroom (my map didn't save, so sorry your designs didn't save either), @Lekosa1 helped with the designing of the bridge, @GalaThundR helped with the WE, and @DaddySloth helped with the little details like making sure the flowers were the right colors.​
    Structure Restricted Areas: No engi/necro structures allowed inside the base, flagroom, spawn(duh), tunnels, and right outside the tunnels. I also restricted like 2 trees because they overlook the dragon and baron pit tunnels, so that'd be pretty OP.
    Configured (yes/no): yee boi. Be proud of my flagroom roof. Took forever. xD
    Number of Caps: 5. It's a smaller map.

    Great map! I suggest moving the spawn further away from the map since ninjas can easily pearl on top of it.

    Update:
    • Added walls to the side of the nexus to avoid headshots (any other ideas for that let me know).
    • Added sponges to parts of the map not accessible to classes other than soldier
    • moved spawn further away and added a "wait time" to sponges to help with distance between spawn and flagroom

    Reminds me of waterfall.
    I love this map.
    EDIT: I'm very stupid, I meant to say it reminds me of another old map, almost like a woodsy pagodas or something. Anyways I love it.'

    Actually reminds me of my waterfall rework but hehehe whatever.

    I like the map. Kind of soldier op on the trees, but might not be too bad. The trees aren't all that tall and the map isn't super long, plus the water crossing areas could help compensate for some of the tree layout.

    If the trees and varied levels of terrain become an issue in testing, you can flatten the ground and punch out some trees. Looks testable to me.

    Thanks Xelasi. I could definitely see the trees being a problem, but they're not imperative to the gameplay, so them going shouldn't put anything out of balance.

    I really like the look of the map as well as the origin (I'd like to see more maps based on other games). My only main concern, which already was addressed was the amount of trees. It shouldn't be too much of a problem, but still a concern.

    Personally it feels like a modernized, diagonal version of Canadian Fort. The amount of trees, the river across the middle, spawns proximity to flag, etc. I feel like it would play like that map.
