    the healing and webs are the OP aspect of medic, not the sword. nerf the sword and medic will still be really powerful.

    I think nerfing medic's healthpool would balance out it's sharpness a bit. Maybe get rid of 1-2 steak.
    (yes ik its op ability is the healing but we don't have a coder to rework that right now so this is compensation)

    In my opinion, get rid of it. Medic sword is meant to be a healing sword, not a damaging one. The fact that sharpness I was added, doesn't that kind of make medic's goal less significant?

    I really don't think the buff was necessary. Imo Medic was a perfectly fine class without Sharp I. Buffed heavy-medic or medic-chemist teams were basically op before Sharp I... imagine how powerful they will be now ._.

    Basically what uni said. I talked with matt about an idea about how to nerf the healing ability, but it was a bit complicated D: instead of an Insta heal, you could hit the player to give a slower regen and then hit again when they are at full health to give back either a steak or regen/health pot. Any other items (besides elf arrows) will be instantly restored after the first heal. After the first item regen, there's a cooldown of about 4-5? seconds.

    The problem with this idea is that it's not exactly intuitive. It's hard enough to get a medic that doesn't know the game mechanics well enough to heal you twice, let alone 5 times. Also it's a complicated idea. If that problem could be solved, this change as well as removing a steak and keeping sharp 1 is what I would like to see done to medic.

    I like the cooldown idea on medic sword. I agree that it's a little too easy to get all your stuff back with just a couple hits. The cooldown idea would stop this from happening so fast, so I would +1 this if it were in a thread.
    I don't think the fact that it would be complicated would make it a problem. If people play it enough, they'll get used to it's gameplay and know (more) how it works. It took me a while to figure out elf and chemist though I'm still only good at archer xD
    I think your idea's are fine. +1 if possible?

    I agree completely with this, but the issue lies in the fact that because of the healing the class was overpowered and we decided then to buff it??????????

    Basically, a support class doing damage AND having the strongest single target heal in the entire game is slightly ridiculous.

    Lucio doesn't have the highest damage out of supports in overwatch, nor the highest healing output.

    The change just meant medic could hold it's own a little better. It's healing is still just as overpowered - it's not better or worse after the change.

    Considering there's only been 1 actual medic main giving feedback as of now, I'll throw in my 2 cents:

    Good medics don't need sharpness 1. They tank the damage like a man, and they do their job of healing the carrier. Sure, the enchantment makes it easier, but if you can't get 1 single extra hit off a ninja, then either a) Your opponent is a God, or b) You need to work on your pvp a bit.
