Idea Tom's class rework series - Rework #5 Necro

    I won't post a long intro here, because this necro will be entirely different.

    Armour:
    - Black dyed leather chestplate with protection III & thorns II
    - Purpled dyed leather pants with fire protection II & thorns II
    - Black dyed leather boots with feather falling I and frostwalker or depth strider

    Items
    - Mob-healing sword (stone sword with knockback I)
    - Spellbook

    Mob-healing sword abilities:
    - Health funnel: when the necro holds the mob-healing sword, the zombie will receive all the damage (with the exception of true damage) instead of the necro. The necro can basically heal its own health pool with the mob healing sword.
    - Umbra remedium: shift to slowly regenerate your own health pool (basically like ninja)
    - Warento nesciunt mortem: when you do qq (wait up thing) on an enemy, the zombie will chase him/her

    Spellbook abilities:
    - Summon undead: crouch for 5 seconds to summon a passive zombie; when the zombie is already summoned, crouch to teleport the zombie back to you.
    - Acta est fabula: right-click the spell book and a frenzy-like explosion will happen that gives the surrounding enemies (5x5 range) wither II and weakness I for 5 seconds. (10 seconds cooldown)
    - Incendium: (basically fire aspect I for 3 seconds)

    Passive zombie:
    - 20 hearts, strength I, speed I and has an iron sword and full leather armour

    I do like this idea but there is too much to it, maybe make it a little like how it is now?

    How it is now is not very good so making it like how it is now still won't be an improvement

    Tom, I honestly really like the idea of thorns and protection and stuff, but II or III is a little too much.
    Maybe something like this?

    Sorry, but I really think putting II+ on all of them makes it a little too strong. I'd stick with I for pants and II for chestplate. Otherwise it's overprotective imo. But I really like the thorns and prot. idea!
    See, this I agree more with. Just a little bit of this and a little bit of that, that would make it strong enough.
    Oh, and I'd go for depth strider over frostwalker.
    This can get abused pretty hard. All a necro would have to do is spawn a bunch of mobs, let them attack the enemy, and then hit them yourself. When you hit them, you can deal damage to them, but they can't deal damage to you, because they're dealing damage to the mobs you spawned. So you're basically doing them in while they're trying just not to die by 5 different creatures at once. This idea could use a little work, I'm afraid. I can help come up with idea's later on, though, if you want.
    This idea COULD maybe work out, but then you get all the players who run to some hiding spot, and then just camp out there until they're strong enough to return. I'd just use something like steak. Plus, this way there could be an endless healthpool, like with mage. I'd just use steak.
    This is a good idea, but a lot of people don't know about the qq thing in general, and this would make it more complicated xD.
    Nah, the spellbook part seems a little too complicated. Maybe have something that we just have those separate spells, like with chemist and mage? (I know chemist has potions, same principle).
    This is actually quite overpowered. Giving a zombie all this stuff makes it a stronger melee MOB than archer as a Class. This is a bit too strong for a creature that should be used for annoying and distracting the enemy, not killing them.

    So, I hope this feedback was useful enough. I did my best to try and help. Hope it pays off xD

    Yea, the numbers are debatable. I just wanted the armour to be a little stronger than mage's. I'd say protection III is fine, but I can agree with thorns II and I and also depthstrider.

    Keep in mind that this necro only has ONE passive zombie. Once that one is killed you need 5 seconds to spawn another one.

    The spellbook is fine. You need it to summon your passive zombie mob and those other features are fun for pvp.

    Keep in mind that the zombie can't pvp like a player can. The zombie isn't that hard to kill.
