Idea Necro on hit buffs change

    Right now necro can only apply buffs with its sword, which makes fighting very annoying because you constantly have to switch items (to one that deals less damage than the pickaxe) to buff your mobs to deal more damage. Applying buffs can be enough of a challenge as it is especially if they've got a speed buff or are baby zombies - being tiny and very fast. Suggestion: allow necro to buff mobs with any item, not just the sword.

    Can already do this with the heal. Why not the on hit buffs?

    The only issue here is that you may want to heal a mob without applying buffs. Currently you can heal with any item, so if buffs worked the same way you wouldn't be able to save them.

    in other words, you can't heal and apply buffs at the same time?

    Isn't that what the sword currently does though?

    That's what only the sword currently does. We intentionally made it so you could heal with any item so that you didn't have to buff a mob if you wanted to heal it. The change suggested above would just counteract that.
