Idea Mage glitches

    For me, when i use any version of minecraft that allows me to play on brawl, there are always problems for me when i use mage. I will now list them

    1. For some reason {probably damage immunity} when i use freeze spell on an enemy as mage when they are attacked by my teammates then the freeze spell never ever works which means that there is no ice prison around the enemy.
    2. My flame spell, damage spell and freeze spell never goes through my teammates, basically when i am attacking my enemies with my spells and a teammate interrupts my attacks then my attacks will not hit the enemy.

    The point of this thread is to fix these problems as mage but i actually do not know if i am the only one experiencing these problems or if everyone is experiencing these problems when they play mage.

    Please tell me how to fix these so i can be a better mage.

    This also happens with archer, or really any projectiles in ctf. It would be less realistic if arrows, damage spell, flame spell, etc went through your own teammates. It probably won't get changed, you'll just have to adapt to be the best mage :wink:

    1 - It's just how minecraft detects players being damaged. Since the player that's being frozen takes damage from the snowball, if the player is already receiving damage it doesn't detect that the snowball ever hit the player and the spell doesn't work. I don't know if this is fixable or not through plugins as it's how the game works I believe.

    2 - This has been a thing ever since mage was released, along with any other class with projectiles. It may be "fixable" but I highly doubt it would be done. Imagine how annoying it would be to have spells being shot at you through a whole group of players.
