Intro I'm Here!

Hello everybody, your favorite animator here from OSXAnimations coming back to you with another post!


When I first started animating I never knew I would end up this big. I actually started animation after watching Cloudy With A Chance Of Meetballs. The film had great animation, and wonderful visual effects. I started out using Cinema 4D R12, when I started animation. Most of you would think I did Minecraft animation, but I didn't. I actually did animations with Cinema 4D's rig pack, with random rigs like an ogre, and a robotic dog. After almost a year, in 2010, I decided I'd try to making my own rig, not just using the Cinema 4D Pack. So I came up with a fancy Italian Burglar.

Soon in early 2011, I heard of Minecraft. I found it by accident. I was doing a report on Rocks, Minerals and I started to type "mine" in the google, and being curious I clicked on the one "Minecraft".

I started making Minecraft animations after watching my friend David Steele's (Known as BootBuckaroo) animation of how the physics of Minecraft were, like how blocks couldn't fall. I first started out with a basic faceless rig, I found on the MinecraftFourms. I used it and made a quick animation (nothing too good) of me running away from a creeper.

After multiple animations, I made a facial rig, with skin support, and fingers, and other stuff

I made the switch to Maya after watching CaptainSparklez's Fallen Kingdom. I noticed Maya was exactly as good as C4D, but Maya had a bit of more "Advanced Features". So it was sort of like repeating history. I had to learn the program, just like how I did with Cinema 4D. In late 2012, I completely mastered Maya.

Now this is the part where it gets way better !!!!!

In the summer of 2013, I meet this amazing artist who I thank the whole world to, PixelSwift. He noticed my animations/renders, and he got Dan from TheDiamondMinecart, to contact me on skype. He wanted me to be his animator, and I accepted his proposal.

Later I meet Grant (Grwm) in a Blitz game in late July. Almost one month later, me and my friend Adam (NCaprisunMC), found him in the Blitz lobby being as helpful to the players who had questions. We asked him if he had a skype, and he did. So we have been super duper epic best friends since.

During that time, I was invited to Grwm's Build Team , Bedramak. I had a certain love of building, since I built the sets of my animations. So as I started building, I made my way to Co Owner. In early October we were messaged by Minecraft YoutuberSSundee, about building for his upcoming server. It was such a huge break for the team, to get to build for SSundee.

Now back to my life

So just recently I was contacted by TheMineBox, about making some thumbnails for their upcoming animations. A day later I was contacted by Juicetra, an old school Minecraft player who needed some new flavor to his channel, and I was the man who could help.
