    Minimap
    As you guys know, xray is against rules, should minimap too?

    Basically, minimap is xray sky, in my opinion, it should be bannable
    Many people don't want to build skybases, cause it's very easy to find with a minimap. It allows you to see any built bases in the sky. I know it's hard to see and check if someone is using minimap but, if it would be bannable, many people won't even bother downloading it. Couple people are just running around the map with a minimap on and finding raids. What you guys think should it be bannable. If you are using minimap, tell it in comments and let me know what you think.

    Agreed. Nobody makes sky bases no because of it.

    Well it kinda falls under the first rule: "Do not use modifications (mods) that give you an advantage over other players, including macros."

    Maybe they should add clarification about sky islands here: "Minimaps without entities (players or mobs) and caves."

    Most servers actually started banning for minimap once people figured out how damn easy it is to inject cheats of any kind into it, and once people started just disabling the Entity feature before or during a screenshare.
    Personally it needs to be banned since it gives so many advantages and can (apparently) cause block visibility issues (basically F3+A).

    how do you know if they are using a minimap and not aus ping?
    a lot of sky bases can be seen from the ground

    I don't think this is a reason to make it non-bannable. I think that if something gives you a distinct advantage - E.G - Being able to see sky bases via a mini-map then it shouldn't be allowed.

    Banning for minimap is like banning for damage indicators. It's a nice thought but you're not stopping any cheaters.

    Mini maps that allow you to see sky bases made of chests that cannot be seen from ground level should be bannable 100% imo. Will bring it up to higher ups soon and see what can be done.
