So this is a normal and average minifeast haul currently.
Since Brawl's damage is calculated so differently, it means that you can basically kill anyone and anything with one minifeast. The issue is that minifeasts are classically used for enchanting swords and armor, and sure you get enchanting bottles, but uhh...no lapis lazuli. This means that a Specialist will basically be able to come to the feast with a Sharp 2 iron sword (or a diamond sword, even), Prot 2 Unbreaking armor, and a ton of Strength pots. Fun!

I suggested a few minifeast changes a while back, however since they got some interesting feedback to them I decided to suggest another combining rework.
    (for reference: https://www.brawl.com/threads/64461/ https://www.brawl.com/threads/65632/)
Here is a current minifeast (might have messed up the glass a bit and they sometimes spawn without it, but it's good enough):

Kinda dull, but it contains within the best of goodies, as I said.

So here's what needs to change, basically:
    Visual quality:
The minifeast looks really boring in its current state. It's just this blob of chests that don't really look aesthetically pleasing.
My first idea for this is:
    2017-12-22_13.03.51.png

The glass should match the biome in some way (for instance a minifeast in the Mountains should have white glass, a minifeast in a jungle or roofed forest/dark oak forest brown glass).
I'll be coming to the slabs, they are currently just placeholders.

On to my second point, loot:
    • Current minifeasts contain Splash Strength potions, a metric ton of iron, sticks, TNT, flint-and-steel(s), lava buckets, enchanting bottles, and here and there Poison pots.
    • What's the problem? The loot synergises extremely well with certain kits: the aforementioned Specialist, also with Ninja (due to the very low Ninja cooldown (which is another story), Anchor (due to the availability of Strength), Gladiator (inescapability), Fisherman, and one or two others. These kits are the main played kits nowadays along with Kangaroo and Phantom, basically making certain kits extremely meta'd and the game unplayable for certain other kits or players who don't realize how stupidly broken minifeasts are nowadays.
    • Strength potions are also 20 seconds. Not so bad right? Wrong. I once got 7 Strength potions (and 32 iron) from a single minifeast. 7 x 20 seconds = 140 seconds of Strength, basically a single Urgal potion (I hate that kit so much). Hmm, not OP at all. What does it mean? Well, for one, you can one-shot someone with a crit and a sharp 1 iron sword sometimes (might be due to lag or something).
    So what's the change?

    1. Make it clear, in chat, what minifeasts are. Make it clear that they contain decent gear and are an option for people who have been hunting all game.
    2. Change the loot. The chests should no longer contain ANY Strength potions, instead 33 second weakness or slowness pots. There should also be a cap of 17 iron (1 sword, chestplate, pants) OR chain armor in the chests (no more than a total of 2 sets). There could also be some more creative items with more situational uses. For example:
    3. Igniters (blaze powder that sets players ablaze for 5 seconds in a 7 block radius around you)
    4. Launchers (slime balls that launch you into the air 15 blocks and give you fall damage immunity when you hit the ground)
    5. Eyes (Eye of Ender that gives you vision on a player - what I envision is that a player is "marked" using a command and then has a beacon that shines skyward for 10 seconds after said command is executed
    6. Enderpearls
    7. Bows, arrows
    8. Recraft! Some soup materials would personally improve the minifeast quite a bit.
    9. And now the slabs: these could be the kit item prezzie dispensers that I suggested on one of my threads regarding minifeasts. Not sure what they could actually be, but I think this would be better than hardly ever getting your kit item back.
    10. Last, but not least, regarding enchanting:
    11. only 5-6 enchanting bottles to stop people from getting basically Prot 1 diamond armor and sharp 2 iron swords before the feast
    12. the enchanter should work differently: you right-click it with armor, a sword, a tool, and the table enchants automatically. Also, this is not just for minifeasts, also for the feast, but remove enchants that are useless (Smite, Bane of Arthropods, etc.) from the plugin.

That's it, reply with thoughts etc.

Lots of interesting ideas. I made an attempt rather recently to get an adjustment done to minifeasts, however they were in a plugin that we weren't super familiar with. I'm sure if we did decide to do an overhaul to mini feasts it wouldn't be too hard to figure out though.
