Idea Add shaders to the forbidden modifications list

I suggest to make shaders overall bannable on raid, as they become a bannable offense as soon as the user of the shaderpack dives in lava (as shaders make lava see-through, which makes finding bases and diamonds easier).

Otherwise you could just hit someone, who is using a pack atm, into lava, which results in him seeing diamonds at the bottom. You record it and he gets banned, not knowing it wouldn't be allowed.

 

Well a player who is new might just find out that feature and then keep diving in lava, eventually finding a base and getting banned.

 

@Doges The problem is that xray packs and glitches are all installed/provoked intentionally, with you usually having to activate something.

All, and i repeat ALL most used shaderpacks make you look through lava. You dont provoke any glitch, you dont press anything, you just play normally.

This is why i am suggesting to remove them - They are appearantly all glitched and (at least if the same rules apply to the same people) should be bannable.

If not, maybe a solution is allowing them under certain conditions, because if you dont state anywhere that they need to be turned off (which isnt possible with pressing buttons btw, you need to go to the settings and unload them, which takes several seconds), someone else will be banned for it, not knowing what he did violated the rules.

Alright, last question.

This is what it should look like "normally" if i dive in lava.


There are blocks above me. Now i press space to swim up and whoops it looks like this:

which is exactly what it looked like with shaders, although no mod except for labbymod and optifine were included in the making of this picture (and i guarantee you, it works with vanilla aswell).

Same thing when you are entering lava through flowing lava:


It is near impossible to avoid these situations.

Will i be banned if i get cought swimming upwards and hitting a wall in lava or entering it through flowing lava, or is this allowed because it does not include any modifications?

 

And as it kind of fits to the topic of the thread, i will ask a question about another bug i found: Is it allowed to press f11 while walking forwards, then tabbing back in? It makes you walk automatically, until you press another key on your keyboard. This+rebinding the mine/destroy key could be used to just "afk mine" obsidian from a tracker.

If this is true, i want to hear it from staff though. I do not plan on giving anyone a chance to ban me for something, which i believe is not bannable, again.

Optifine does not allow you to look through lava. If the lava see-through thing was just a glitch that sometimes happens, i would be fine with it being allowed. But the lava see through thing is basically a "feature" of shaders that cant be deactivated.
