    I know this is an older thread - but I messed around with a few macro programs just now and considering just how fast and perfectly accurate most of these programs are, a chat macro can give a massive advantage. And yes, he only spammed a single chat message, but as both Rainer and I have already said, macros can be set to a delay of under 0.05 seconds and still be extremely accurate. This means that you can get a huge advantage in various situations when a fast command is needed, think Team Friendly Fire or warp setting during a kite or what have you.
