    CTF Map Prototype

    Map ID: 141369


    Good News for me, bad for you. Somehow the map got up again (thanks to the staff, if it was their "fault"), but the other side of the medal is, that I am going to bombard you with the Progress of it.


    Done some terraforming, added some new structures and edited the spawn.

    - you can now get to flag by 7 ways
    - more "rocks" so you cannot shoot clearly the entrances to the flagroom
    -> less plain
    - sponges aren´t flying that long than before

    Hello there! First of all, thank you for your effort into building this map, secondly thank you for guiding me around and giving me a good explanation of what your vision on the map is.
    I'll be starting with the things that should be fixed / tweaked in my opinion and then continue with the things I like.

    Negative
    1) As I have mentioned ingame as well, your spawn needs to be changed, it needs more protection. As you can see on Images 1-2 spawn is very vulnerable to spawncamping archers, from both sides. As soon as you get out of spawn you can basically get headshot from anywhere surrounding spawn, try to find a creative solution in the awesome style you've made this map so far.

    2) The hole underneath spawn that leads directly into the flagroom. This hole makes getting a clean steal almost impossible, especially in full player games that already require a solid offense in the closed flagroom you have. This hole is easily abusable and in my opinion should be removed at once. It is a fun concept and I like how you made it, but its location is completely wrong and would give defense on this map a grand advantage. (Images 3-4)

    3) Last piece of advice, remove the golden pressure plates from the sponges, if you'd want to cover them you should use wool (yellow wool to still make it look like your golden pressure plates in some way maybe?). This is not a necessary tweak but I would rather see it changed to wool. (Image 5)

    4) Last and most certainly least, try using some other blocks, your map vision is very monotone, it looks cool and all but I'd rather see a tiny bit more blocks used than this (typ of blocks). Perhaps add some gravel here and there.

    That's all I have for negative, now onto the...

    Positive
    -I really like the style of your map, the whole Star Wars themed 'war machines'. I would call this really decent for a star wars in minecraft impression.

    - How you've made some sort of maze to get into the flagroom from the sides amuses me. You took into account that soldier would be limited and that most teams / players would be going as heavy / chemist in there and you limit their mobility really well.

    - Following my last point ^ , the flagroom you made is open but not too open for pyro to be vulnerable to anything and open enough to keep pyro's ability limited. (Image 7)

    - Your underground cave and above ground desertlike landscape is fascinating, really cool lava-lake at the bottom too. Plenty of entrances into the flagroom from up top and from below, still not making it impossible to defend on it.

    - Good map, in general, I like the looks of it. (Image 8)
