    Hecking heck I just lost my flag 3 times BECAUSE I COULD NOT HECKING STEAK BECAUSE THE 1.12 HECKING SHIELD IS TOO GOD DAMN HECKIN BUGGED ITS HECKING ANNOYING WHAT THE HECK. HECKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK. okay, can somebody fix the 1.12 shield problem it just annoys me. THanks

    This is due to the fact that the shield is prioritized over the steak when at full hunger. There was an attempted fix in the past that involved reducing the hunger by half a bar, however this just made it so your sprint would break while steaking, which was a bigger issue for more of the community.

    All my other servers are 1.12 so I'm kinda used to the client + 1.12 removes the right click limit. I'm a spammy player so this is ideal.

    I found some way to fix it, but it requires changing the steak to a carrot on a stick. The server can just add a resource pack to fix the texture.

    Basically when you right click with a carrot on a stick while holding the shield, it will still detect the right click on the carrot on a stick, unlike the current steak.
    Weird fix but hey, it should work.

    Or, and hear me out on this, instead of recoding the server why don't you just take 5 minutes and change to 1.8.9. It's a crazy solution, but it just might work.

    Mmhph those 5 minutes are a lot if you have to do it every time, alongside that I also have fps issues in 1.8.9 and not in 1.12

    lol 1.12 is most clearly not meant to be used on a server like brawl. Theres a reason servers are still stuck on updates from years ago
