Don't leave spawn kids, what's the point of playing objectively anyways?

 

I feel like letting people spectate in regular games would take away the point of the game. There’s brawl discords and teamspeaks to speak to people, and there’s the option of staying in spawn if you don’t want to play but want to speak to people in game. With the elf update you can no longer be winded out of spawn so I feel like standing in spawn would be fine. The only way I could see this even having a chance of working is if brawl sold the spectating perk to players who then gained access to it, but even then it’s doubtful at best.

 

The dead weight problem is an issue that you’re creating if you choose not to play, and I don’t think concessions should have to be made to fix that. And if you scroll all the way down on your browser there are several links to brawl discord and teamspeak servers c:

 

I would agree with the comments above, however there could possibly have an option to buy it on Brawl? The only reason I see spectating being any helpful is a few seconds before game to see the map and be able to easily see all the options and routs the map has to offer. Then again you are able to run away freely before game so I don't really see this being applied. It's a good idea though!

 

Maybe being able to purchase the ability to fly before and in between maps could be a more practical application of the original idea, would still coincide with the eula(not that brawl tries to follow the eula anymore)
