    Brawl was already dying when McPvP merged. It used to get over 3,000 players, and just as the merge happened Brawl was only getting over 1,000. The merge didn't kill Brawl, it just failed to save it (though, Brawl didn't merge with McPvP to revive Brawl, it merged with McPvP because Chaploo was nostalgic and had more money than he knew what to do with).

    Correlation ≠ causation, one of the basic rules of logic :L

    Issue lies also in severe mismanagement of the server for several months

    I'd argue the server has been mismanaged for several years. Things have gotten a little better since Chaploo left, though.
