When someone is AFK for 5 minutes, they should be kicked from the server. It is annoying that when the server is 50/50, more people can't join and like 10 of those players are most likely AFK and taking up slots for people who actually want to play. I know you might say to buy VIP so you can access full servers, but what is the harm in adding this?

Let me know your thoughts on this.

What if they were just going out with the trash? (example) They would get back and realise that they’re kicked from the server because of «afk’ing», and that they’re not able to join back because there is max players online.

Why not just higher the amount of players who would be able to join to like 60?

Doesn't take more than 5 minutes to take out the trash.

I agree but maybe a bit longer than 5 minutes. I was prowling the forums while waiting for the match to start and I’m pretty sure I was gone for more than 5 minutes. Maybe 10 minutes? Yet again, this change could just stop me from doing that whilst in game.

Maybe if you afk for 4minutes and 50seconds, the last 10seconds, every second a message spams you that you will be afk kicked in 10seconds/9seconds/8seconds etc.
So you can know when your being afk kicked cause if your just standing still but still being active you can move etc and not just being randomly kicked....

Maybe in last minute every 10 seconds, and then at the very last 5 seconds (so total of 10 times) this happen, with text come on your screen say you be afk kick and a noise come, but maybe this is too many time. This way
this no will happen (assume the person has volume on). Overall good idea and I hope it be add.

    Also,
I think the opposite of this happen because it should be encourage that more people make another ctf server. By opposite, I mean that maybe player count 40 or 45, because if there is 40 active people play and there 20 other people that want to play, the 20 person server can has a actual game go while 40 person player go. And if in 40 person game one team has like 5 dwarf and some people want leave, they can easily join other server and keep play. I want opinion on this though ^

I agree. though instead of fully kicking them off the server- just put them in the brawl lobby. (though i presume you mean this anyways)

I didn't mind any option - off the server or to the brawl lobby.

Could get too spammy imo. Perhaps when it reaches the 30 second mark, it will display a warning every 10 seconds before you get kicked until there are 5 seconds left. When there are 5 seconds left, then it will countdown in 1's (5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and kicked). This would be helpful like @Rejeqted mentioned above as it won't randomly kick you without warning.

I like and agree with this idea. Perhaps 5 minutes is fair -- I mean often enough, a whole round will end in less time than that. Perhaps a per-player timer or a small stack of invisible items can be used to dictate this mechanic in each player's inventory. With the small stacks, once every so many seconds or once per minute the server would check to determine if each player has moved location or changed the direction they're facing, etc. and if so it would replenish their little countdown stack. Otherwise their countdown stack gets reduced. If their stack runs below a certain value, a /msg with @PlayerName in it appears to "ping" the player with a boot-to-lobby warning. Once their stack runs out, that player is booted to the lobby and perhaps a message appears in chat stating that they were kicked for being inactive (so that other players know what happened to them). Otherwise, again, any movement or change would replenish the countdown stack (or reset that player's timer). At least a couple ways to accomplish the same goal.

Adding to this idea a bit, in case it might help a bit more, the timer (or invisible stack) can be reduced each time any player in a match types a new command such as "/wake (PlayerName)", so if I'm slothing around in spawn you guys would see me there, roll your eyes, and be able to type "/wake dequoy" and if enough players did that my timer (or stack) would instantly drop low enough to "ping" me with the boot-to-lobby warning...but ONLY down low enough for the warning (no lower, so that it doesn't serve as a way to vote someone out of a match whether they're AFK or not).
