[Event] Hide and Seek

Hello minecrafters!
The CTF Committee is proud to present the first Hide and Seek event!

When: Saturday 18 (August), 3 PM EST
Size: Flexible, but would like to keep it under 20 players
Maps:
1. Slums
2. Ship Battle
3. Night Raid II
4. Skytown
5. Surprise :]]

How it will work:
1. All the players who sign up will be added to a RNG which will determine the seeker every round.
2. The game will take place during the pre-game mode of a CTF map (no classes).
3. Hiders are allowed to log onto the map after the ref/mod allows them and are given 2 minutes to hide
4. After those two minutes, the seeker is allowed to log on and is given 5 minutes to search for as many players as he or she can.
5. The ref/mod will spectate the seeker's POV in order to judge whether a hider has been found or not.
6. If the seeker finds a player (his/her player body or nametag must be visible), he or she must type the hider's IGN in chat, and the ref/mod will determine if the hider is found and will announce in chat.
7. If the hider is determined to have been found, he or she must immediately log off the server.
8. If the seeker finds all of the hiders, the seeker wins / If there are remaining hiders after the seeker's time is up, the hiders win.


Rules:
1. No glitching / bug-abusing (E.x. hiding on the side of the map by shift-breaking blocks).
2. The hiders / seekers are not allowed to log onto the map until the mod/ref says so.
3. The hiders are not allowed to log out at any point while the seeker is seeking. Logging out will result in instant disqualification.
4. No hints or inferences of hiders' spots may be given to the seeker, even by those not participating in the game. If a hider gives away this sort of information, it is instant disqualification.
5. The entire map is the playing field. If there are secret rooms that are accessible without glitching, then they are fair game.
6. Multiple people can hide in the same location.
7. Using optifine is not allowed while seeking (it's too much of a hassle) but is allowed when hiding.
8. The seeker must play at a 5 chunk render distance (the ref/mod will also be at a 5 chunk render distance). If the seeker cannot play at 5 chunks, a different chunk amount can be agreed upon between the seeker and mod/ref.
9. When hiding, you don't have to stay in one place. However, if the seeker spots your nametag, you're out.
