    I've remade my previously submitted map. After looking through the feedback, I've updated it with an easier layout, smaller map, and more cover from archers.

    'Alien' Trees provide archer cover (There are sponges for quick travel)

    Black glass provides pathways across the map without looking ugly

    In daylight, many walls are now visible from far away. The wall is in-between 2 barrier walls

    Thin pathways to the back (and holes in walls) prevent someone from camping near spawn with the flag.

    interesting ideas with the glass and it looks fresh from Mars...i like it a lot! cant wait to see it tested :slight_smile:

    Overall it looks good, but you tried to limit class abilities in this map. For example you said that the alien trees provide archer cover [this is alright as almost every other map tries to deal with this issue] but my main concern is how you tried to prevent ninjas from epearling across the map. In like almost every other map i played, they have scenery but the scenery is there for decoration. This map is of medium size so yes ninjas can easily teleport across the map if not prevented, but also the glass pane [in my opinion] is useless apart from preventing ninjas from tping everywhere.
    I like how you try to solve a lot of issues surrounding ctf maps but this map seems to restrict our ability to do certain things if we do play on your map. Camping near spawn with the flag is not a huge issue, due to the fact that the flag carrier can still be killed. It will be difficult to kill the carrier, but it is possible.
    Just try to fix those issues and this map would be loved by a lot of ctf'ers.

    From what I see, it doesn't actually cut time for ninjas. It only makes them use a couple more enderpearls. You can still pearl across mid through the gap at the bottom, you just can't do anything insane.

    Although @ItalianPenguin, the glass panels open up the possibility of a ninja glitching into the glass and climbing up to the top of it and maybe camping there with the flag. you can also probably reach the spawnbox because of this. Whilst that does make it fun to play on casually, it doesn't make it fun for objective players who have to reach a flag carrier in the spawnbox.

    I also liked the wall bc in a way it couldve provided interesting distinct funnel points to cross mid (for all classes, which isnt too common of a case), so defending and crossing such points couldve had some cool gameplay.

    (ninja wouldve needed to use 0.5-1 extra distance worth of a pearl, not that big of a deal tbh)

    also, idk if sandwiching the mid glass with invis barrier blocks could help prevent glitch use to climb up to spawn box, not to say id rather have fun every now and then being able to do so (;

    I decided to add the wall back in and use barrier blocks around the glass.

    The main reason for the wall is to stop ninjas from teleporting across while holding the flag.

    Maybe create large structures/buildings instead of the barrier blocks to stop ninjas from tping or perhaps put a few holes into the barrier to allow the ninja to have a chance to tp through [would be difficult]. Another idea would be to make the barrier blocks a bit lower in height, this would essentially allow soldiers to climb up and over but ninjas would have difficulty doing it.
    The barrier blocks does kind of restrict our movement a little bit since it would force us to go under the bridge which would maybe negatively impact gameplay. But lessening the restrictions would make the map more fun to play on.

    I've decided to add another pathway to the map to improve gameplay. There is now a bridge under the middle section of the map, with secret pathways to each teams base. There are 2 spots where you can fall down onto the path from the area above. (I recommend visiting the map to see how it works) [​IMG] [​IMG][/IMG]
