    The beautiful CTF that we all know is riveting at times, then at others, it's the literal epitome of boredom. The trusty game mode had supplied years of fun, but sometimes you just want something fresh to play. Would it be a possibility to have a new version of CTF with different maps and classes? Or even an MCPVP CTF game mode that features all the options as they were on MCPVP and only includes the old maps? Maybe an OP CTF game mode, who knows? Something fresh, new, eye-catching. A new game mode would not only make a lot of current players happy but draw in new players to the community as well. It'd be a fun change and a nice thing to try out. I'm not sure if having a new CTF game mode is a possibility but if it is, hopefully, we'll see it in the future.

    What kind of new maps and classes do you have in mind? Due to Brawl's low playercounts, we can't afford to add new gamemodes - any CTF revamp would have to replace current CTF.

    I don't have anything specific in mind at the time, but that could be something we all think of together.

    Also for the low playercount, maybe it could be a beta server that has a smaller capacity so to actually play in it, you need to buy a beta pass? Brawl would earn money and the new we'd be able to see if the new gamemode is any good and if it suffices player needs.

    It can be set as a purchasable temporary booster, so player-count and money wouldnt be an issue but honestly both would be boosted.
    Big +1 esp for MCPVP OP styled classes (a new class too would still be cool)

    and from there, depending on the popularity and money, maybe it can be 1 of the 3 servers or as a match/the 1v1 server, who knows, but it's defin a direction i think we should really take - and this is probably the smoothest and easiest way to do it


    Edit: and if that works out, maybe even a "Zones" booster ?...:thinking:

    Instead of making an entirely new gamemode (just gonna split the playerbase anyway) or a booster (some people will not like to have their casual game of CTF interrupted by a total revert), how about we introduce new changes to CTF that take into account the cries for more buffs but also takes into account the cries for nerfs that made the nerfs happen in the first place. MCPVP CTF, whilst fun and nostalgic, is very unbalanced at places. And modern CTF is too balanced at places. If a middle ground is found, then there's still gonna be salty kids, but not nearly as many as before.

    And you could also maybe find a way to incorporate Zones into CTF. Imagine an area of the map being a zone, and the team who controls it gets a minor buff.

    I miss when CTF wasn't 99% of the players walking into your flagroom and shifting in the corner blocking with their swords doing nothing for the whole game.
