Idea Frogman Class

    A brand new idea of a class for the CTF gamemode.
    The class's name is "Frogman".
    Description:
    The Frogman class will, as you probably already guessed, have the ability to jump high, have a more powerful jump.
    The class will activate it's ability by right clicking it's wooden shovel. It will be able to jump for about 6-8 blocks. This is a high block hight, but it is the class's special ability, and needs to be useful.

    I see a lot of ideas on here that are premium classes.
    I wanted to make this a FREE class, as I see that there aren't so many choices for the new players, who don't want to spend their money on a class, or don't have enough credits.

    It's weapon will be a wooden sword that will have an enchantment of;
    • Knockback II
    • Sharpness III
    Will have 4 steak

    Armour:
    • Diamond boots. Feather falling.
    • Leather green leggings
    • Leather green chestplate
    What do you guys think?

    The knockback is probably a bit too high, you could almost win any fight on a hill by repeatedly knocking your enemy down or even into the void. Especially since you haven’t specified the armour or steak of the class, which I assume would be somewhat high as the class seems to be more inclined to offence. Interesting idea but needs a lot of work, almost seems like a soldier variant.

    I actually really like the class, it's simple and effective. I think it has to be more thought out but we don't need to have classes with very complicated and unique abilities everytime. This class is great for capping due to a good synergy between the jumping ability, which alllows you to avoid opponents or get to higher areas easily, and the knockback of the sword to punch the opponents when you steal. It can also be useful on defense with the knockback ability. There isn't any class in ctf whigh has a knockback enchantment and idk why. However, I think the sharpness 3 on the wooden sword is a bit too much and honestly isn't needed. I would rather see this class with a good armor because it is in my opinion more of an offensive class.

    Great idea... maybe with diamonds leggings and a chainmail helmet.

    I still want to keep the "frog" look.

    There's very similar free class already in play, being soldier. I would make it a premium class, simply because it seems like a branch off the soldier class. One clarifying question: would the jump work like a sponge where you just go straight up, or could you use this in stride where you jump and keep your momentum? Great idea! +1

    Also add a poll, makes community feedback easier

    Yes, if you were sprinting and using the ability, you will be keeping your momentum.

    Makes sense, yet I really want to add a new FREE class that new players can experience.

    This is like a less useful soldier with a knockback sword. I really don't see the benefit of it

    it's a bit basic, maybe give it 1 more ability or item or something - maybe if it jumps next to a wall after right clicking its sword and if it then presses the spacebar it can leap off the wall, kinda like Lucio to an extent

    if that or something else that makes sense with the class (a frog tongue has potential for few things) and is easy to do ...gets added, then i think this would be a nice addition

    knockback II is very very powerful, so from going to a game without any knockback to kb II will for sure be interesting and fun, and more mobile classes are always more fun too

    I won't say this isn't a good idea, it is, but I really want there to be 1 class that is easy to use and is simple. A frog tongue sounds like an attack, and I don't want the kit to attack really, even though it has sharpness... Anyways, I want this kit to capture the flag and not defend it.
