Idea [Seasonal Class] Cyro

This is a proposal for a new idea, special classes that are very closely related to a class already present in the game or a class that is just a reskin. The example I use here is Cyro (Pyro).

Cyro
Available for purchase only during the winter. Can be bought on the brawl store for a certain amount of money.

Cyro is an alternate version of pyro that would be free to play on Fridays during the holidays. It wouldn’t be much different from the pyro class:

-Armor is the same, but blue leather armor
-Bow no longer sets players on fire when fully drawn, but instead does damage and gives the player slowness I
-Flint and steal summons a snow patch with snowball particles instead of a flame; players that walk into the particles receive slowness I
-Cyro does true damage to players with Slowness attribute (so always true damage to dwarves); true damage is 3.5 hearts
-Frenzy is renamed Cold Frenzy; inflicts nearby players with slowness III and doubles the pure damage
-True damage affects medics
-Soldiers affected by Cold Frenzy cannot wall climb
-If a Pyro uses frenzy, they become immune to slowness effect
-Any of the Cyro’s attacks will remove fire from its target


If all of the changes are too much to code, perhaps Cyro could just be a reskin that makes the Pyro armor blue and frenzy looks different.

The main concept here is to increase revenue for Brawl while keeping CTF fresh with something exciting such as a “new” class.

 

Indeed, either two of those would work out (available for credits during the winter, but purchasable all year long, or only purchasable during the winter, whatever works). Would need a small bit of testing but I feel like it could be a breath of fresh air to introduce alternate classes like this, even if they aren’t enabled in competitive or they’re only a limited time event. Efficient too, easier to balance than a completey new class and easier to code.
