Map Wave XV submission deadline

Hello fellow capture companions,

It is time for a new wave of fresh maps! If you would like to build a map for CTF, make sure to submit it until May 5th, 2019. The entries will be gathered a day after to organize the public testing. We are also looking into setting up a Spotlight Saturday system, in which already submitted maps are pre-tested outside of voting to allow map makers to play their entries and gather feedback from players.

Should you be new to making maps or are unsure what to look out for, fear not! This checklist gets you up to terms with the necessities of map building, while this guide lists what it takes to make your map play smoothly. When you are done, this thread shows you how to configure your map to make it playable. Keep in mind that aesthetics are secondary to good gameplay, some of the most popular maps aren't the most beautiful flower in the garden.

Don't worry if you cannot submit on time, your submission will be considered for the following map wave.
