Sorry & Goodbye

My complaint:
For those of you who don't know I've been pushing for a big self-made event for the past few years.

As of August 20, 2019 I sent my final messages to staff about my limited time constraints and moving the event forward. Not sure if it's due to stubborn staff, bad blood, or the lack of interest in investing time into a ghosted server but regardless the lack movement and transparency has always been ridiculous. My last messages have been read but ignored (except for our staff member Carnotarous who's knowledge on the subject seems to be similar to mine). All I wanted was a solid conformation that it's going to be used but I've heard nothing. Not a single word. I've been trying to give the benefit of the doubt for these past few weeks in terms of its delay but it really does seem like it's not being looked into. I've worked on the event off and on over the years while waiting for it to get noticed. It started to become burden. I became frustrated with both staff and myself for wasting my time. Staff that I'd reached out to such as Trogy said they'd relay the message to get it going but the word always fell silent. Obviously talk about it was being ignored or canceled somewhere along the line. I made many posts to try and hype it up and get attention from both staff and the dwindling community.
The last event I'd made (4-5 years ago) was shown to a single Mod (cuddle) and then BOOM, I was messaged by multiple staff to whom I gave a run down of the event's flow and it was a done deal. One or two of the builders or mods got a false credit for the build but I didn't care. It was being put to use! Anyhow, getting an event going now is like kicking stones. I made long drawn out instructions and even a video to walk staff through this newer event which will be shown below. I have zero hopes on it being released at this point so I'm comfortable with the public seeing it.

Another issue I have is a player known as Caleb and I had been given our own specialized world years ago to work on an event which had a lot of work put into it before being 'lost' without word. Communication is key.

What the event would've been like:

On a softer note I have mainly good memories of this server stemming from when I'd found it back in 2014. I'd always been a bit of an introvert so finding this server gave me a sense of grounding to eventually open up in the real world. I struggled with depression that grew heavy into high school and this was my escape until I found out how to cope with it. Like the projects I've shared and accomplished with players in game I now enjoy starting and taking on team projects with friends. Holes, floating islands, lava walls; some of you may remember the things from in-game. I eventually became the leader, the smart guy of my childhood skater-boy group XD I'm now finishing up a five year degree in a problem solving based major (well known but we'll leave it anonymous). Players' interest in my basic redstone contraptions led me to dabble into electronics as one of my many hobbies. I even use to use a microcontroller that I built into a mouse to auto-click at fast random intervals. Talking with players from around the world has me eager to travel and some of us have exchanged irl contact information in hopes to meet up in the distant future. There's a lot I credit towards Minecraft and Brawl but at this point there's nothing left that it can offer other than being a distraction. I really wish the event could've been released as my final 'gift' in return but it is what it is. Take it easy everyone.
