Looking For Feedback - Decreased Flag Pickup Delay #2

I think it’s better than the current and much less ridiculous than the instant. I wouldn’t mind seeing it being added in.

 

I like it, but I have heard some people say they don’t even realize the delay is on.

 

this is MUCH better than before, and also a lot better than instant pickup. it makes offense just the tiniest bit more enjoyable while not screwing defense over because there still has to be an effort from offense to steal. 10/10 please implement in game ty

250ms delay is the way to go

 

Although it does not make a huge difference, I did feel that it was easier to steal with 250 ms pick up time than with 500 because most of time, if I succeeded to make it to the flag post without being noticed by many people beforehand, I could effectively steal and didn't get knocked back before the end of the flag pick up duration too much. The 250 ms would still make pyro useful though, because the offender staying in range for a reasonable amount of time would enable the pyro to have the time to damage the offender a lot and eventually kill them whereas, with the instant pick up time, the carrier could escape in an instant and almost get away untouched.

Therefore I think it would definitely help offense without making (core) defense too hard unlike the instant pick up time. I don't think it would completely solve the offense being less attractive / harder than defense issue though, but the new necro, if made correctly and according to the offense's current needs, could help a lot too.

 

ye and by the way not the flag pick up is taking to much time you really should drop it to 250mc or 300mc but now it taking TO much time
