Should grapples be removed?

It isn't hard to learn how to use them, though people have learned how to use them so well that it makes a huge skill Gap for not only low-skill players , but even the few new players that tried joining. The point of the game is not for clutches to be easy, but to be more of a rarity. Seeing a single person drop a team of five full diamonds just because they are grappling from person to person... grapples were never intended for micromovement like that.

 

The server never died, of what I remember a lot of players started to play again. You need to have played back in 2013/14 to remember the fun. Of what I believe the main reason is for players not learning the game at all is the grapples. When they got added 2014 the ones who could not use it due to high ping quality or other issues quit. That in my opinion had such a huge impact on the players which were confused. Then later in 2016 they removed grapples for half a year and replaced it with ladders which to me functioned well and a lot of players came back for the nostalgia.

That’s all I can remember, I think it would be interesting to try out the skill part of the game.

there wasn't a big difference, obviously, but when grapples got removed, there were some old players that came back and played for a bit.

 

That is exactly why grapples have to get removed because if we remove them there are high chances more players come back which will give some benefits such as; a more tactical gameplay, skill based and better possibilities for new players as previously mentioned.
