    I actually quite like the look of the map, after running around on it for a bit I think I will also enjoy the gameplay.
    Only thing I can suggest is maybe adding a sponge to get to the roof of the flag/spawn building.

    Whether it be inside that little extending hut that brings you to the roof(I prefer this), or even on the side of the building, just somewhere so you can get on the roof, otherwise it would be a bit annoying.
    Otherwise, I think I'll like this map!! :smile:

    Here are my thoughts:
    I like the size of this map a lot, small enough for it to not take too long to get to flag but long enough to where it can support a large amount of people.

    Be careful with your configuration bc blue flag says {{spawn 2}} so make sure that gets fixed.

    The sponge that you added is good there just needs to be another one underneath so the players can go higher. It’s hard for me and probably other players as well to react to that small sponge. Cover all around looks again it just comes down to testing.
    Archer cover is questionable but the height differences appears to counterbalance that out. Also I think the water in the flagroom should be separate "pillars" if that's the right word instead of having the water flow.

    It's good to see a relatively unique theme. The flag room seems heavily favored for defense, except maybe the back route because it's much more open and shorter. Each end of the map seems a little too vacant for my liking; If that was intentional for an abandoned motel theme, I'm not judging on that, just saying that people won't exactly gravitate much past mid. Mid is going to be archer controlled whether we like it or not, and there is hardly any cover, although I believe the size of the map prevents you from adding cover without it looking odd. +1 For custom trees, although you could have safely used plenty more (maybe smaller variants). 5/10

    Hey, I appreciate your effort of posting feedback and your dedication to this gamemode in general, however, I disagree with rating a map on a scale from 1-10, when you haven't even played on it once.
    Theory and practice go different paths, especially if it comes to ctf maps, I'v experienced that often enough (Canadian Fort is actually a good example of this).

    I have been playing CTF for quite a while, and I believe I carry enough experience to give a preliminary rating based on components from people's maps that are similar to others. I rate a map by its theoretical competitive functionality, and I try to list all the points I can that add/subtract value from a score. I actually took up this practice by being rated myself on previous maps. You will notice I put it at the end of my review because it ultimately summarizes everything I say in the rest of the post. This gives the builder a general idea of how much the map should improve in my opinion. I mean no harm by it, and the score always reflects what I say in my comments; You aren't going to see me drool over a map and give it a 6/10 without there being some sort of apparent problem with it. I meant no harm, and I hope you can understand that I'm not trying to attack/one-up people for personal reasons, as that seems to be a common occurrence around here.
