I am currently living many miles away from the nearest town, meaning I have no access to hardline internet. I've lived here twice, and the first time I was out here we tried a service called HughesNet. They are an absolute scam and I pray for any poor naive soul that purchases it and has to deal with their 2 years of bs.

I moved back out here around July of 2018, where at that point we had gotten new phones with hotspots. So long story short, I've been using a hotspot for the last year and a half out of necessity. This comes with many hidden complications; I say hidden because my ping rarely jumps to 3 digits. It is quite easy for people to reach 4-7 blocks on me by simply clicking fast enough. Other players' hits register faster, resulting in me sometimes taking 7 hearts to a full bar of health in 1 hit. My hits almost don't exist (look up any ppm and my damage dealt). I'll get fully glitched inside blocks just from getting hit while standing next to them. It's overall just a mess that I can't deal with any longer.

So, for the time being (probably forever knowing my luck), I am quitting Brawl and Minecraft entirely until I am able to acquire functional internet. If I do return, hopefully things will function better. It is quite agitating playing with AU ping despite being 500 miles from the host. An apology for any friends that interpret this the wrong way despite me explaining it as in depth as possible.

EDIT: I will be sticking around for a while to check on some things. Either way I will (hopefully) have normal internet during the summer.
