Rules for Responding to Staff Applications

All forum users are encouraged to give their opinions on staff applications, as this feedback helps us learn more about an applicant and allows us to make a more informed decision. However, rules in this forum section are a lot stricter than in other areas of the forum.

The following rules will apply:

• Keep responses professional. In your responses, do not be passive-aggressive or rude in any way.
• Respond to the staff applicant only. Do not respond to points that other users, including staff, have made.
  • You are welcome to discuss other people's points, but not on the application itself. Please take these discussions to PMs.
• Discussions with staff applicants should not last for more than 3 replies (from one user). This is to avoid an application being overwhelmed by just 1 discussion.
• Only respond to staff applications if you are able to provide a genuine reason for your decision. If you do not wish to post a reason, please simply vote in the application's poll.

In general, users will be held to the same standard as staff members are in this forum section.

Failure to follow these rules will result in a warning. If you break these rules again, you will be banned from this forum section for 3 months. You will still be able to post as normal in other areas of the forums.
