    CTF Map Submission

    Map Name: Coresteel I
    Map ID: 434495 (original's ID is 1358 if you want to compare)
    Creator(s): Snowbreak
    Time of Day: midnight
    Configured (yes/no): i hope so
    Number of Caps: i think because what i changed has turned it into a very offensive map (i think it will have gameplay similar to large hall or xieroth) it should be 5 caps, subject to change

    major points i thought of rn:
    -top and bottom of map removed to make gameplay more linear, i kept the side ice structures but can remove them if they are able to be abused in any way
    -spawn's spaceship is now completely inside the stone part of the map (find them with /warp or /mode 3), with a portal (hopefully it works as intended) to teleport the player to the old landing pad spawn. I did this so that if someone is afk for a bit they are not yeeted off the map by an elf wind, plus i mean i just wanted to be the first to make a map submission using the new portals tbh

    ending note: i tried to keep it as faithful to the original as possible while adjusting it to hopefully be at least somewhat playable i guess. this is pretty much a prototype version as i plan to change a lot after a spotlight saturday happens, (most likely the flagroom) unless i think it plays well enough in that

    feedback appreciated, im an idiot and probably glossed over/missed some stuff

    Hi so I have 3 things to say to this map.
    1. On the original I always got a little confused where the hell I was going and even though this is now less of a problem it might still be for new players so maybe add some signs directing people to the flag.
    2. The Ice structures on the side seem somewhat useless imo
    3. A lot of flowing lava causes lag for some people so maybe try limiting it a bit more (idk how much is acceptable or not but usually the less the better is what I have heard).

    Thanks for the feedback. I just added some signs at the sponges at spawn to show newer players they lead to the flag. As for the ice structures, they are pretty superfluous but they were a part of the original and I figured since they do no harm I may as well keep them, could have some interesting stall tactics with them. As for the lava, none of it is actually flowing and it is all solid blocks, which do not cause much lag. Last map wave I submitted a map with tons more lava, a volcano map, and all was fine.
