I think this would cause complete chaos. If red stole from blue, made it to the safe-zone and is waiting for the medic to arrive, both teams would eventually get there and a huge brawl would start which doesn't sound like a good idea imo. Think about if a pyro is chasing a heavy and they just run into the safe-zone, the pyro will just die now. There's so many other scenarios.

But assuming this gets implemented, would scout be able to swap them out of the safe-zone?

The ultimate outcome of this in casual would be half of each team sitting like moths drawn to a flame while experienced players on recovery would have to clear out the enemy carrier's support indefinitely.

This would be your only hope of ever countering it. The question then becomes who even owns scout in your game, are they able to swap "successfully", and so on.

I do agree that gaining effective support on offense in casual is more than difficult at times, but it is often situational, and adding a full-time feature to compensate for a temporary ailment is bound to lead to more problems.

I think this would just slow the pace of the game down way too much and wouldn't suit. While it is indeed frustrating getting all the way across the map and dying cause there's no support (so many times ), it would just create too much stagnancy. Having to wait for your support to appear just allows the defence to catch up much quicker and creates a brawl outside rather than promoting smart routing and teamwork to counteract a fast moving defence. Interesting concept but I don't think it'd work, but that's just me.
