Idea Give Archer the recovery if they headshot the carrier and the flag despawns

All jokes aside, Archers in casual rarely have to even think about what they're shooting at, and most of the time they act like literal Terminators that are programmed to right click at everything they see. They already get plenty of normal kills as is, and while the extra few credits wouldn't even be noticeable to them, the people that actually know how to left click would prefer to snatch that recovery instead. Archer doesn't even have an achievement for recoveries, so all you'd accomplish is forcing everyone else to put more time into the server to make progress on those stats.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong but based on this opinion, shouldn't players who hit the carrier into the void also get the recovery? If archers can get this luxury, so should players who also in my opinion put more effort in to actually be near the carrier and hit them in the void.

 

Honestly it’s not an entirely bad idea, I think people underestimate the lack of statistical recoveries for archer as Carrier Kills aren’t tracked by the leaderboard (something I’d like to fix but would require a whole reset of the stats). To what Zarpin said, I agree, players knocking carriers into the void or swapping them into the void should also be getting some form of recognition for killing the carrier (especially as players drop the flag when they’re voided).
