Idea Assassin Removal

While they may agree with your logic. The lack of detail on why it isn't viable combined with only a single selling point in your argument doesn't really make a valid reason on why it should be removed . In your case any reasonable person with even a modicum of experience will just say *If you can't block it then pick another class??* Unfortunately that kinda kills your one selling point handedly

 

I don't mean to sound harsh, but one of the key strengths of Assassin is literally their ability to wipe out classes like Pyro & Engineer with 0 effort. Being a victim of this confirms its effectiveness, but if those classes are all you play, then of course you're going to die to them much more frequently. It can be hard to step back and see, but maining one or just a few classes can easily force you to build your sense of balance around those classes only. I was a victim of this with a Chemist addiction that spanned for about a year, that led to me making a few similar threads like this just because I was having trouble playing the game as one class 24/7. If you're just head over heels for specific classes, then use them to your hearts content, but don't expect immunity from things that are designed to happen to those classes. Assassin has questionable balance in casual, but the competitive scene is balanced to where it's almost a little weak in comparison to other classes. Comp balance will always take priority over casual's (unless for some reason they revamp casual and separate it), so the effect of casual's wildness is going to distort the balance of every class in some way. It's an issue that a lot of us recognize, but we just don't have a set solution for the whole thing yet.

I think that you shouldn't get rid of it, but maybe make it two or three kills to get the redstone back, that way assassins can't spawn camp the other team.

 

its like pokemon sometimes ur pokemon is good against this pokemon sometimes its not good against this pokemon so basically if u want to speedrun a pokemon gym u take the pokemon thats the opposite type so for example water is good against fire fire is good against grass grass is good against water and theres like over a dozen more types that play into this. pokemon is a world renown rpg, television series, manga series, movie series, toy company, nintendo company, gamefreak company, mobile app, toothbrush, anything u can think of. pokemon features almost 1000 total unique pokemon which each have their own unique qualities. for example one pokemon can evolve, one pokemon can evolve twice, and some pokemon cant evolve at all. some might have different forms depending what item you give it, and some might have different forms depending on the weather. listen, what im trying to say here is that pokemon is really an amazing franchise respected by all hated by none. assassin is basically pokemon

 

On a professional level assassin is pretty damn balanced simply because of the fact that you are at a disadvantage. Meaning that assassin is heavily skill based, unlike other classes which can win in fights through brute force or the class is archer
