After some recent conversations popped up in the CTF Discord, a thought provoking topic was brought back that hasn't really be targeted individually for a while: The fluctuating integrity of the staff team. There have been some new pickups that without a doubt are going to contribute massively to the future of CTF, but a number of the other members that are assigned to CTF and/or are in the CIC are commonly perceived as "washed" by the community. While the severity of that trait is often exaggerated, it's still a very real concern as we're continuing into the most dynamic era of CTF yet.

The idea here is that some type of test, whether it be a literal google form or a set of trials, will be assigned to all CTF staff members at a given frequency over time (monthly, bimonthly, etc.) to ensure that the red flags (ha) are at least identified. This test should include as many topics as possible, but also hold relatively leniency in the case of a member simply favoring one part of the game (offense vs defense, etc.), but not so much that they are just exempted from any given area of the game. Hosts of the test should include members that are widely acknowledged as experienced players who are highly familiar with the current meta. I know that's easier said than done, but the truth is that some of the changes that have been made to CTF in the past year show a clear disconnection from the current meta; While that isn't a bad thing in practice, it becomes dangerous in the hands of someone who doesn't know any better.

I'm leaving this fairly vague so that actual staff members can bring up the specifics in the order they see fit. I did not intend for this to come off as aggressive or insensitive if it looks that way up to this point, but I feel that this is a vital discussion for a more stable future of CTF.
