PRIDE 2021| Fundraiser & Virtual Events

It's Pride month! This is something that we deeply care about. Our goal has and always been to create a welcoming, fun, safe virtual platform for our diverse community. Some of you have even found a home here – I know I have – and it is our duty to emphasize inclusivity so that others can find a home here too.

As advertised in our Brawl Summer Updates thread, we will be hosting a series of events and fundraisers in the spirit of Pride month to advocate and raise awareness for LGBTQ+ equality and inclusion.




We will be raising money for Outright Action International.

All profits from our Pride shop items ([Pride Pack] tags, Pride sprays, Rainbow & Disco outfits) will be going to this charity.

For the next 2 weeks, we will create a shop category "PRIDE" that will include all of these items for ease of purchase.

For every purchase, you will enter a lucky draw for a chance to win lifetime ELITE (or its equivalent in the Brawl Shop) and a custom tag!




Pride Parade

Date and Time: Saturday, 26th June. 3pm EST

We will also be hosting virtual events, including our very own Minecraft edition Pride parade!

As part of the Pride Parade, we will be live-streaming on the Brawl Discord, and make sure to tune into the "Pride" voice channel! Watch out, because we will be hosting many giveaways on the day!

As the event is hosted on our Build "Free World", anyone will be able to build structures and place item frames/armor stands, as long as they support Pride! We want you to add on to our current rainbow street and liven it up! However, this also comes with the possibility of abuse. If you are to abuse this privilege in any way, eg: creating hateful structures, griefing, etc., we will not hesitate to exact punishment.

Screenshot Competition
Grab your cameras! Along with the Pride Parade we will be hosting a screenshot competition. Take screenshots of yourself, others, your builds, or just the scenery, as long as it's related to supporting Pride! The best screenshots will be reposted on Brawl social media.

Skin Competition
Make sure to also dress up! We are hosting a skin competition. The skin that we believe is the most creative, best supports Pride, and most aesthetic, will be the winner of this event!

Top 3 winners of the competitions will win the reward of any two cosmetic items and bonus prizes!

Movie Night

Date and Time: Friday, 25th June. 3pm EST

We will have a movie night where we will stream a movie from a selection of these 5 movies:

• Moonlight
• Funny Boy
• Cowboys
• Breaking Fast
• Tomboy

Vote in the poll to choose what movie we should watch! For this event, simply hop onto the Discord "Pride" VC! We will stream it on a site.
