cool reason to have hg on brawl

    cause the thing is that there's a huge gap in hg: there are either brazilian or german hg servers, and no way for both active hg communities to come together and play with halfway good ping. so like, itd be a good idea. there was even a "hg world championship" between the german and brazilian hg community which was organised recently by a friend of mine, and they couldnt find a good host for both parties to play on, so they had to switch servers for every match, which sucked because one party had a significant ping advantage over the other. besides, there currently isnt a single NA hosted hg server, so itd be cool to finally have one after hardcore dot games went down the drain.

    look: im a hg guy, there are many other hg guys, why not have all hg guys play together? c:

    edit: forgot to mention that the hg world championship blew up, with the announcement video getting 3k views on a channel with just 200 subscribers within the first few hours of it getting released. the actual streams where the people played against each other also got tons of viewers.

    Definitely sounds interesting. HG hasn't been brought back due to a lack of players, but if there's interest in a tournament that other servers aren't able to appeal to, that would solve the issue.

    It's worth mentioning - bringing back HG won't be as simple as just pressing a button and re-enabling the server. Since HG shutting down, the network has undergone a lot of large backend changes, meaning HG isn't compatible with the network anymore. Not sure how much dev time it would take to make it compatible again.

    I'll look into it and see if this is possible, but no promises.
