    People are not happy with the current enchanting style. So I made a thread to poll and discuss changing it for next map

    Anyone who thinks the gamemode should be more hard-core should be against xp bottles. They are far from vanilla, and remove the hard-core grind and aren't vanilla at all.

    That aside, I like the idea of making it so enchanting takes only 3 levels, but instead removing the shop glitch so that armor 'expires' when used too much. The repair scale on 1.8 is quite fair, in my eyes. Especially if xp bottles are allowed, because it is really easy to just xpbottle 10 levels, you get like 30 level 10's per level 30

    In my view xp bottles should be kept removed. They are way more overpowered compared to 1.8 enchanting. I'd like to see 1.7 enchanting without storable xpbottles. I think shop glitch should be removed ASAP. That's the biggest problem in enchanting currently. In addition, I would like to see repairing 1.7 (you can repair items 1-2 times)

    I think 1.7 repairing is a little excessive. I do agree with the rest.

    May be, 1.8 repairing could work if shopglitch got removed

    I agree with this. These changes don't make the game any harder, especially with double xp booster existing, getting 30 levels is easy once you have a grinder

    Honestly, I have to give a big +1 to 1.7 enchanting. The fact that you don't even see what you are enchanting makes it harder and more interesting.

    That's not actually changeable (iirc)
    You'd loose all levels but you'd still be able to see what your enchanting. Unless they made the enchants appear random, and you got different ones to what was shown

    I dont think theres that big an issue to not see what your getting. And bottling xp is fine tbh.

    He means it is not possible to remove hints, it is only possible to make the enchant random and therefore the hints are useless, but still show

    Im refering to the hints, you should always know what ur getting. Other wise that xp is useless.

    Duh but it could go either way. But xp bottles should be kept. Only reason why they are so good. Is because double xp boosters make them op. I would say make xp boosters 1.5 x the xp
