Banner and Logo Competition!

One question, does the 256X256 have to have a clear or colored background?

I think Ill give the icon and banner a shot. Ive had my fair share of pixel art experience

Question: Is the logo the server icon that is set next to the server name on the server list? Or just a general logo for mcbrawl? Also, is the banner allowed to be animated? (Into a gif)

The logo that I currently have is something I am somewhat iffy with. The black outline around it is something that I am debating over whether to keep or not, as well as if wording should be added.

Yeah I was thinking something like this:
(A quick test I made)
It could be something like a player killing zombies, and then it switches to a clip from minecraft party, mcwar, etc. All the while have "McBrawl.com" On the side. Btw sorry for low quality, it was just a test.
