    Honestly I'd say either Inferno by Dan Brown or Enders Game by Olson Scott Card. Don't read horror stuff, I'd suggest watching Conjuring, if you wanna be scared.....

    Inferno sucks.
    Read "Illuminati" or "Sacrileg".
    Or read Tom Clancy and Clive Cussler, they are my favorite authors.

    Clancy is so famous that he you even get a list of his books when you type in "Tom Clancy Books" on google. https://www.google.de/search?num=30&client=firefox-a&hs=NEb&rls=org.mozilla:de:open_mouth:fficial&q=tom clancy book list&oq=tom clancy book list&gs_l=serp.3..0i7i30i19l2j0i19l4j0i7i5i30i19j0i8i7i30i19l2j0i30i19.1172.1172.0.1437.1.1.0.0.0.0.145.145.0j1.1.0....0...1c.1.32.serp..0.1.145.hJ5cKqPLPho

    Read "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland".
    I swear to God, Lewis Carroll was high when he wrote that book.

    I can highly recommend:
    Inheritance Cycle
    Four books, it starts with Eragon, you can google a little summary of the first part.
    @Lord_Roke also knows it :wink:

    Servant of a dark god -John Brown
    Maybe even the whole dark god series
    If you want a scary book, I recommend "Thinner" -Stephen King
