Outro I Joined Awkwardly, and I Shall Leave Just So

I dunno. You might know my name. You might know my face. You might know my story.
Not that it matters much, seeing as I'm taking a break from Mc-War ... a long, long break, if you know what I mean. I've made a lot of great friends, made some great rivals too, and in general had an awesome time. But, in the eloquent words of Robert Frost:

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.​

My golden age is through, short and sweet it was. I'm proud of what I achieved: lv. 61, proud member of MKF, 3 clans of my own, countless EMPs, even a few nukes, and ... friends. I never thought of MineCraft as a friendly community, too much swearing and trolling, no room for comfort from others ... even if they are sitting behind a computer on the ther side of the globe. Mc-War proved me wrong.

I first joined some time before clans were introduced, good days those were. But a broken mouse and a busy life led me away from PvP for a long time. Then sometime in the early summer of 2013, I rejoined. I got hooked, again. My goal was to get the MSR, then it was to get prestige, then it was to get the Iso, then to make a clan (screw that!), then to get all the guns, and then what? I had reached the peak of my popularity, it seemed. Twin_Otter, Daniellazer, Moko, Chicken (Ninja, not Putty), Robert, and many more; they all respected me, as though I were as good as they were. So I stuck with them, and I helped usher in a new wave of MKFers, Tyrant, Ebob, Toby, Thwer, and Ying. I hit a new peak, there was fresh ground to cover, I had to prove myself to these nubs. I guess I did okay.

But then came a grim day, Christmas, believe it or not. I was blindly anticipating the SMGs ... they never came. So I boycotted Mc-War, I didn't play for a while. And now I just can't bring myself back. I'm sorry to my friends, sorry to my former clanmates, sorry to the few members of REV0, and sorry to an former VXED and VXD2 recruits. And to my enemies: I hope you enjoy my absence, I hope knowing that you helped drive me away makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
