Spectate in War

Could you not make it so the players cannot interact with anyone or anything?

 

Perfectly possible already, with quite a bit of coding. However, 1.8's spectator mode helps quite a bit. The only problem, as said before, is people giving away others' positions with the no clip system.

 

People in spectator mode could could have their speech privileges taken away.

 

When they go out of spectator mode, they can give the position away.

 

True, this is an issue. I think if this is added then people will have to deal with things like this. Also, if they go out of spectate mode them he person probably would have moved. Unless they are a camper.

 

Isn't that the whole point of everyone wanting killcams though,to give the enemies position away when they kill you? We could also limit the time they have in spectator mode so they don't follow the player/s/ where ever they go to get a greater advantage.

 

Well I heard that MC-War was adding in a new in-game chat. That would help fix the problem, that way people in-game will have a different chat.

 

i dont think it should be added or something like that in mc-war but its a good idea though.

 

There will be a lobby chat and an ingame chat. That's all, for now.

 

I like this idea. I've always wanted to spectate my friends in game.

 

Couldn't have said it better myself. Plus, there will be no point in spectating when you can join mid-game (McWar 2.0 Update). So really, there would be no point in spectating.

 

Team fortress already does it with no spoilers. Just make it so they can only spectate players on their team.

 

At first, they could start giving permissions to staff for OoM places and for hackers, after any bugs are patched and full thing is finished, it could be released to public.
