Idea Ctf needs something

    Hello, I haven't been playing ctf much lately for two main reasons. One it's just getting really boring no new maps have been added in a long time. (Unless your a new player) And I just was getting annoyed with insta kills. I have been playing a different ctf server that has no insta kills and it just seems like a lot more fun to me. I think ctf needs all new maps in general... All fresh maps would be nice (maybe keep 1 or 2 good old maps). I also think another class should be added. This time just a simple easy class something in between heavy and soldier. (armor wise)

    A new map wave should be coming out pretty soon. I think they're waiting for CTF to be out of beta before they release it though.

    New maps definitely won't be out till post-beta, but I feel like CTF is getting close to the point where we don't need to be in beta anymore. (Keep in mind that's just my personal insight, I don't know any specific date/time when CTF will be out of beta, I'm just judging that based on recent progress)

    How many different classes do you play? I used to play archer 90% of the time, pyro 10% of the time (until I stopped playing it entirely). I started getting super bored. But then I started branching out to some different classes, training more with them and learning their playing styles. It really helped spice things up.

    New maps were definitely on the top of our to-do list prior to our move to brawl. I don't see why we shouldn't be expecting some new maps soon :smile:

    A new wave was planned to be released literally the month MCPVP shut down. Brawl doesn't have the same management of maps that we used to have, along with the fact that it took so long for ctf and build to come back up, so it will take a while, bridgedweller

    Is what I dont understand is if mcpvp was planning new maps the very month it closed why didnt brawl just use those maps i mean ctf was down for a while I would have rather had new maps and waited a week longer

    Simply because Brawl CTF was not, and I think possibly is still not, ready to implement maps directly from build. (Well that was the issue a few weeks ago).
