In my opinion, I loved the wool. With the banners, there are many problems, all of which have been stated. The one that I dislike the most is that it blocks my view when I F5. ._.

 

The wool in war's ctf is a tile entity.
Also it was coded long before banners were added to MC

Yes, but then it moved here. I'm not sure if banners were in CTF while it was still mcpvp, but war isn't really being focused on rn

If we consistently get this reaction from the community about how you added something useless and stupid to the part of CTF that didn't need to be changed (and please don't BS me that you couldn't make class changes, if you really couldn't you should've left CTF as is) while wasting coding time that would've been better allocated to HG, @NomNuggetNom, perhaps you can afford to waste a little more time fixing your mistake.

Its just like haters. No matter what, someone will find something about something to complain about. But haters are a necessary evil if you think about it. Without haters or complainers, they wouldnt know what needed fixing, and stuff.

 

That was literally almost the same scenario- except flipped around.

 

If they could make the wool look a bit nicer than in mcpvp I'm in 100 percent.

 

Funny how that works, huh? You wanted change to come to CTF, then when it did come you flip your sh*t and ask for more work to be done elsewhere, as if one coder can consistently manage two different servers for extended periods of time without burning out, giving up, or not giving a sh*t any more.

While I agree with all of you guys that wool should be returned, even if only because it's public opinion, you won't get anywhere by constantly stating the same thing a million times as if Nom's not seen it, or like he's maliciously denying changes to the community he fu*king came from.

You don't bite the hand that feeds you while simultaneously whining that you don't get more food, it's not going to make the coders any more partial to your case.

So yes, while I agree @NomNuggetNom and the code team made a mistake with the banners, and they should be more transparent with their methods, I do NOT agree with pouring all this salt all over the place and then demanding crops grow there.

In short: if you want change, don't insult the people making the changes. If you want to know why banners are still up, ask, don't demand.

What with all the public outcry, what's your take on this situation? Why haven't banners been changed, and what's the plan to deal with this situation, as they're pretty clearly disliked.

 

I remember the first couple days of Banners being implemented, and Nom literally fixed about 20 issues the community had with them being glitchy. I personally preferred wool, but pretty sure he's already done all he can/should do about it, and it really doesn't change the game to much, it's not going to ruin the game.
