    I meant that most people (not all) who use instakill classes play more for kills, and if instakills were removed, said people would most likely look for the next easiest class to kill with. In my opinion, that's mage. That's all I meant.

    Your proposal (Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V didn't quote, and I'm not sifting through your giant post, so rip):
    -At the start of the game Soldier starts off with a full XP bar.
    -Every time it uses its wall climb Soldier loses 1/5th of the XP bar.
    -XP bar regenerates 1/5th of the way every 2 seconds.
    -Soldier takes 50% reduced flag poison damage.
    -Crouching will regenerate the XP bar twice as fast.

    I haven't gotten to reading all the reworks yet, but I'd like to comment on the soldier rework. Although I don't play soldier anymore, I used to love playing it and capping way back in 2012/2013 on Mcpvp.

    - I don't think having the 5 wall climbs in a full XP bar is quite enough, although that can be debated. I suggest maybe increasing it to 6 or 7, perhaps.
    - I think, rather than having a wall climb (whatever the value may be, i.e 1/5 XP bar) regen every 2 seconds, make it so you regen a wall climb for every 1-2 seconds of walking/sprinting. This way, soldier is required to be on the ground, or some kind of structure, for at least some time, making it slightly less OP. However, soldiers who know how and when to use their wall climbs sparingly will still be able to survive.
    - I like the crouching to regen faster idea, but, as @b0squet said, soldiers can crouch while wall climbing to regen faster in your proposal. So, adding the requirement of staying on the ground to regen wall climb would be better, just as I stated above.

    In summary:
    -Give soldier a little more breathing room by giving it a higher number of wall climbs per full XP bar.
    -Soldier are required to be on the ground in order to regen, whether it be crouching to regen twice as fast, sprinting or walking, it must be on the ground.
    Note: Wall climbs will regen slowly as a player walks/sprint/stands. They will not regen in large chunks such as 1/5 an XP bar after certain time intervals of being on the ground.

    I don't think dwarf is spot on(in my opinion) I kind of want it to be more mobile and less OP

    All of the other classes can be used for offense and defense....dwarf is the only defensively set class, that's not balanced. Dwarf needs to be used for offense also.

    I'm not sure where you're getting the idea that it's too strong for a free support class considering that I removed the cobwebs, and nerfed the healing.

    Not true. The only tanky class that's even a little bit tankier is Heavy and even now it takes Mage a while to kill it.

    Huh? You like a broken, boring, derpy as hell class? It's not like this Dwarf can't defend, it's just not able to get so stupidly OP like current Dwarf can can y'know actually move so you don't spend half the game derping around in the flag-room waiting for action or raging after losing all your levels aftr getting random killed by an Assassin.

    Tweaked Ninja some more. Should be quite a bit better now @b0squet

    The point of dwarf being 100% defensive oriented is intended. The class is intended to solo defend the flag so all other classes can play offence. It was designed for the meta of 'Capture the Flag' in which the majority of people went on offence and either tried to cap or had a small war in the middle of the map. If you were one of the 3 people who didn't want to go try and capture the flag or participate in the war, you played one of the 3 defensive classes from 2 years ago: 1. Heavy 2. Medic 3. Dwarf. People only changed to ninja when someone stole the flag and tried to recover.

    The current meta of 'Defend the Flag' actually takes the majority of the classes out of their intended roles and flips them to the opposite. Heavies and medics are now used often on offensive attacks, and pyros and ninjas have primarily turned from attacking to defending. Necro and Engineer are actually intended to be frontline offence to lock down footholds in the enemy's base and provide support and distractions for teammates, not defend the flag and sit in spawn. The only exceptions to this are dwarf and soldier. Soldier has always been the stock offensive class, and it still remains as such, and dwarf has always been the stock defensive class and it still remains as such. The reason the Dwarf is OP currently is because there are more defenders helping any dwarfs and less attackers coming at once. When dwarf is played in its intended environment, it is actually quite balanced.

    I really do like the idea of Heavys getting steak back for a certain amount of kills. So +1 on that. I'm not sure how I feel about the reduction of the buffs, though.

    Yeah well... hey I like playing super buffed Heavy as much as anyone else but in a game without instant kills, it would really screw things up :stuck_out_tongue:
