I have a budget of no more than 1600 dollars and ideally under 1500. I want a Mac computer that will run 3D games well but also have pretty good RAM and have decent memory as well. Basically, I want to store a lot of files on the computer and be able to run some demanding games (More like CS:GO, less like Angry Birds). Should I go MacBook, MacBook Pro, or MacBook Air? If so what model? Anyone know anybody who knows about this stuff?

    Let me just ask this.
Why in the world would you buy a Mac?

You're not gonna find some gaming Mac, trust me, Macs are reliable little things, sure, but they're not meant for gaming.
If you're really, really, REALLYYYY stretching for a Mac like gaming machine, make one, and install Unix or something similar to OSX.

Because I need the computer to have iTunes and safari built in for my school work. I know macs are s*** for gaming, but which one is the least of all the evils for under 1500?

I've got a MacBook Air with a 1.3 GHz i5 processor which runs CS:GO fine. You'll want to get a separate mouse if you're doing anything related to gaming that isn't cookie clicker, though.

Oh, absolutely, I've got the separate mouse set up. So, 1.3 GHz should be fine?

I am a computer expert pretty much, but I don't know that much about macs, only that they are bad gaming computers. Dude, you have a huge budget. My advice is this: Don't buy a freaking mac. For $1000 get a fancy alienware computer. Those things are BUILT for hardcore gaming. Macs, well, are not really intended for very serious gaming.
My family got me a $1000 computer 5 years ago. The thing had a intel core i7 (probably one of the best processors out there) and I havent had to replace a single thing on it. Still works super amazing on Minecraft, alot of times going 150 fps.
Wow I know right? But Alienware laptops are even better than mine!

    Conclusion:
Get an Alienware intel core i7.

    Hope this helped!

And you want an Apple product?

    HAhaHaHahahAhahahhhAahhA!

Buy a gaming PC. The guy above me has it right.

    Edit:
What kind of schoolwork do you do that requires an inferior browser and an awful music platform???!?!???

It's called "everyone else in the school uses a Mac for everything" I think I've got it. $999 MacBook Air with8GB RAM and 1.6GHz Intel i5 processor.

You can download iTunes on a PC and I don't see why Safari is nessecary.

    Don't go Alienware.
For what you get, it's overpriced.
Try an MSI gaming laptop if you really need a laptop, but I'd suggest going with a cheap laptop ($300) and a gaming computer for yourself ($1,200) for home.
Trust me, $1,200 can go a pretty long way.

fml that was good. I might have to use that one xD

On a serious note @Sir_Inge , it really depends on what is going to be your primary use for the laptop. If it is schoolwork oriented then, as much as I hate to admit it, I would recommend any Mac, probably a MacBook Pro. I believe Air costs a little bit mode, for not much noticeable difference. I hate Apple computers; I really do. But despite being an avid Apple hater, I cannot deny their reliability and efficency when it comes to 'school' uses.

However, this recommendation is based off of performance only. One of the biggest downsides I find with Apple computers is how pricey they are. You could get a laptop that does pretty much the same things with slightly less efficency and is slightly less reliable, for hundreds of dollars less. So that is something to weigh up; if you would like I could find u some potential candidates.

If you want a more balanced laptop, with more gaming 'power'- for lack of a better term- I'd recommend an HP (cheaper), or an Alienware (pricey). I personally have an ASUS i7 8GB RAM 1TB hard drive that runs minecraft at 250 frames, and can handle many more demanding steam games. I don't do a heck of a lot of schoolwork on it, but what I have done has been easy, and the laptop has held up remarkably well. It cost me $900 NZ, which is about $600 or $700 'murican dollars.

I hope this helped, and a quick question to @Admiral_Munson: Do u think Apple or 'non Apple' is superior?

Ps. I'm currently building a laptop with a intel xeon e3-1231v3, nvidia gtx 750ti and 16gb ram. (Around 900 $)

I have ITunes set up for Windows, and Safari would be pretty easy to install.
    However, enjoy the Mac Pro
Edit: Just saw someone brought this up from December :v
