    But the way Pyro was previously was not good. I mean, I don't know about you, but I really hate being one shot and working my entire offense around a single class. This Pyro actually gives the offense a chance and makes it so that it can't just solo defend. The other classes on defense will have to help in playing a role in protecting the flag, which in my opinion is ****ing great.

    Pyro is not at all useless. With its true damage it is still an effective counter to tanky classes like Heavy and Soldier. On another note, please explain how the update brought CTF out of balance when Pyro was the class with the most unbalancing effect on the game before the update. Almost every effective defence consisted mainly of a Pyro with some other class to take down the occasional offensive medic.
    So you complain that Chemists high health pool has been nerfed? But you do realize that that was the biggest complaint about Chemist before the update? I don't understand how damage potions' higher mana subtraction is that problematic – throw a damage potion and you still have enough mana to throw six(!) health potions afterwards. The regeneration nerf is indeed a little annoying, okay, but that's all I can find in this nerf.

    It is unbalanced because it is now way easier to cap because the danger of pyro is gone. Kill the assassins and it's a cap

    i think the gameplay right now is a bit wobbly but i am so happy that CTF has a big change

    My thoughts:
    Pyro: I think the new pyro is great tbh. It's still a very hard hitter and I love the assassin-like feel it has now. I do think that there should be a way to charge up without hitting players though. Maybe a shifting combo action or something, just so a pyro can be ready for incoming offense if there aren't any enemy players to hit.

    Chemist: Imo any chemist nerf is a good thing because I hate chemist but for the chemist players I think you guys should fix it a little bit.

    Soldier: The limit to the climbs is a great idea :grinning: I think that the max climbs at full bar should be lowered to 5 or 6, though, because right now you can still get about 8 climbs in which is enough to fully scale the walls of Walrus Creek.

    Mage: I know it's not a full rework but I think this was a very good change :smile: Mage has been pretty troublesome and I'm glad you guys are already working on it

    This was okay... Mages damage spell nerf might've not really been effective, I think a damage nerf would've been more prudent. -0.5 Pyro needs to do 4 or 5 true damage. Otherwise the barely nerfed soldier isn't gonna be stopped. You haven't fixed soldier camping or fall/climb spam. This was a tweak, and not a rework. -1. Chemist needed a total rework like @Chactation said. This will make chemist really useless. The health II vs. III makes a HUGE difference, making healing as chemist harder than steak healing. Just pump it back up to III and make it 5 health pots. -1.
    Overall, I'm not pleased. The reworks need tweaks and the tweaks need need reworks. I would've also liked to see an elf tweak or rework and a Necro buff for @Admiral_Munson. An unhappy zzy makes me sad.

    In all seriousness though, this is incredible! The Staff have listened to the community and have fixed arguably the most-complained about classes in the game, with a promise for future updates - how can you not be excited for this?!

    Well, you can't really cap anymore as chemist now. It's a pretty good thing that chemists can't solo cap. Buffed soldier is going to be as easy as ever to cap with. But after a couple minutes of testing out pyro, I like the rework except for the fact you can only flint once before you can't flint for a second. I'd say to atleast allow the pyro to flint twice before you can't. Pyro could also be given a bit more steak cause now you can easily lose to a good heavy. I thought it's job was to take out the tankier classes?

    Umm you can't really get over anything with that. Soldier is supposed to be a fast, mobile class.

    You can get up 18 blocks with 3 climbs. That's more than enough.
