[opinions] Easiest/Hardest classes to play

@people who say ninja is easy try recoving off of wall spamming soldiers and medic teams with that **** lol !

Mage (people who say this class is easy to play well are on pot imo)
Necro (you try racking up a decent killstreak with your zombies)

 

You would probably agree with me mage wins most 1v1's vs. every class except ninja, assassin and itself. Archers, soldiers, medics, chemists, heavies, pyros, dwarves, necros (I don't consider an engineer a real class), to name those coming to my mind right now, have one thing in common: their ranged combat is either nonexistent or less powerful than mage's.
Mage does perform worse though against fast enemies, that is true, and against archers on a distance.

How is it vs. a larger group of enemies, though? Still here, freeze, lightning and a very powerful heal, together with a bit of running, make it pretty hard to die.

How is mage not easy to play? If it is your aim to get high killstreaks, okay. If your aim is only to annoy your enemies and get a decent KDR, it's indeed very easy.

 

Might as well throw my silly opinions out. I have a feeling people will get salty about my opinions.

I agree with @Admiral_Trump, Necro is another hard class due to the fact that it's pretty useless in games.

Never played elf but it's probably at least a bit hard.

It's actually really interesting, cause you'd think the free classes would be the easiest given they should be basic to get people used to the game mode. Archer on the other hand hasn't been mentioned nearly as much as I thought it would

Some of these might not be totally accurate .. but they should be pretty close...

I also noticed something:
Medic, heavy, soldier, and chemist are usually grouped very close together, which is quite interesting. They all are fairly tanky classes, and all have a decent healthpool. The only thing that differs between them is their abilities and armor, but besides that, they are very similar.

 

Lmao, ive been mage for a bit, i can say its a lot harder, i mean, if you go after one person sure, but its easy to get overwhlmed, corner, etc.

 

I'm bad at archer, and my aim is bad. Pyro is easy because you don't have to aim directly at the person.

 

Remember that a shot with the bow doesn't kill your enemy, though. Assassins and ninjas still pose a threat, even when burning.

 

If you got a medic, dont suck, steak, and have frenzy, you good. Half of ninjas health in one right click.
