This month's featured Brawl has over two days of in-game time on HG along with almost 150 forum threads packed with bug reports, suggestions, and feedback, and is an active member of our Wiki/Media team. We are proud to announce @Mattyz_ as this month's featured Brawler! We had the opportunity to have a short interview with him, which you can read below.

Q: How did you find Brawl?
A: I came to know about Brawl when MCPVP shut down, so I guess I'll tell you how I got to know about MCPVP. My first experience with MCPVP was a CTF game. My friend had introduced me to CTF, and I liked it so much, I bought an account just to play on CTF. At that time, I did not know about MCPVP yet. Later on, I was searching for Survival Games servers, and HG popped out, so I joined it. At that time, I did not know about soup or kits yet. About half a year later, I saw a YouTube video, where soup healed health, and blocks could be broken. This was very similar to the server I was playing on, and so I tried to eat soup. It did heal health. From then on, I started to be more involved in the community, watching the forums, attempting to get moderator, and so on. Eventually, MCPVP shut down, and Brawl bought over HG. When that happened, I decided to play a more active role in helping Brawl, and so
here I am today!

Q: What is your favorite gamemode on Brawl?
A: HG is my favorite gamemode by far, but I don't mind CTF or Party.

Q: Who do you look up to the most on Brawl?
A: I look up to quite a lot of people. I'm going to list them all: BlueGuyARed, Viva, chickenputty, Lord_Roke, Totom3, NomNuggetNom, Turmac, MrWaffleman, TheMafias, SoCool21, Uraniumyyy, Stormneo, Gohabsgo, Noobified, jarboyp. No
t forgetting my wiki team and media team members!

Q: What would you do if you were given admin for a day, why?
A: If I were given admin for a day, I'll promote everyone to admin too! Jokes aside, I'll do my best to improve HG, cause at the moment it's not in the best state. Return some of the retired kits to the shop like Magma and Thermo, and retire some kits like Spy and Ghost. I would probably implement some more purchasable cosmetics, like the ability to use the Kangaroo rocket and Grappler hook in spawn. I would also implement lifetime ranks for a specific server, at about 1/3 the price of the server-wide lifetime ranks, cause these changes could encourage people to spend money on a rank. I might also add FpsHG back to Brawl, and work on a HCF server, cause new servers could boost player counts. I'll also conduct ban waves, where every hacker report is investigated and if they're guilty, I'll ban them.

Q: What has been your favorite moment on Brawl so far?
A: My favorite moment is probably the HG Halloween tournament, where I got 3rd place, the best I've ever done. One really memorable moment for me was the Tribute Tournament. (I think this is what it was called) I tried to re-log at the start, but because the server was so laggy it didn't register me as a part of the game, so I could not join back. I then asked Totom3 to help me get back in, and he promoted me to JMod so I could get in. Although I died within 5 minutes, it is still one of my most memorable moments.


Q: What is your favorite HG kit, and why?
A: I've got quite a few kits I enjoy playing. Anchor is one of them, as I can't combo too well but I can refill and recraft decently, so I'll abuse my strengths to kill people. Souper is another, as the ability to heal 4.5 hearts from one soup gives me more time to try and combo the other person before needing to refill. Stomper too, jumping down on unsuspecting people is so fun. Endermage, cause you can (abuse) use the portal to get 5 seconds of invincibility. Kangaroo is the last of them. Anti-fall, anti-tower, and also a chasing kit is really good. Chasing people is what I like most about this kit. If I have to choose among the five, I'll pick Kangaroo.

Q: What is an interesting fact about you?
A: In terms of HG, one thing that makes me different is that I like to fight teams. Taking out a 2v1, 3v1, or even a 5v1 is what I want most when I have full iron, and a stack of recrafts. Offline, an interesting fact about me is that I'm able to manage many responsibilities at the same time, and probably something unique, I enjoy it. I'm able to juggle studies, sports commitments, media and wiki team, church responsibilities and planning for camps at the same time. Sounds pretty boring having to do a lot of things, but to be honest, I enjoy the responsibilities. I feel like life is quite boring if there's nothing to do but play HG and FIFA all day.

Q: What is your favorite thing to do off of the computer?
A: I'm a school athlete, training for the Long Jump event in Track and Field. My personal best at the moment is 5.5m, quite bad, but I'm working hard to break 7m in two years time. On top of this, I love playing football, or soccer. I take pride in being able to perform good first touches, and able to finish decently. I also love hanging out with friends (surprisingly, I do have a social life), watching movies, barbecues, whatever. I can also play the piano decently.
